Shipping Information

Things move fast in the studio! We ship orders in a "first-in-first-out" sequence within 1-3 business days of receipt of payment. Unless by special arrangement, we mail all orders via Canada Post with a tracking number. To keep shipping costs low for our customers, we subsidize a portion of all shipping costs.

Canada Post picks up at the studio Tuesday-Friday (except Canadian and provincial holidays).

Shipping timeline estimates:

  • Nova Scotia: 1-3 business days
  • Canada wide: 2-7 business days
  • United States: 4-10 business days
  • International: 6-10 business days

These numbers are estimates and shipping can still fluctuate due to COVID-19 and global supply chain shortages. We always do our best to get your order to you ASAP, but delivery delays are unfortunately out of our control.

Lost and Late Packages

Sometimes things don't go as planned. First, we’ll make every effort to coordinate delivery with the carrier within a reasonable time period. Expected shipping times vary by region, but we’ll issue a full refund for items that are well and truly lost.

“Returned to Sender” - Incorrect Address, Incomplete Address, Not Picked Up by Recipient

Mistakes happen sometimes. If an item is returned because the address provided by the customer was incorrect or is simply not picked up by the customer, a refund will be issued minus the actual cost of shipping. If the order is also returned damaged, no refund will be issued.

Customs and Duties

We aren’t customs experts...but we can speak from experience. Customs fees do not generally apply to orders shipped to the US due to the current trade agreement between Canada and the US. But the UK, Australia, and other countries tend to charge fees. It is usually tax plus a handling charge. Buyers are responsible for any customs and import taxes that may apply. If you do not pay the customs fees, packages will be automatically “returned to sender”.

A refund will be issued for “Return to sender” shipments, on receipt here at the studio, minus the actual cost of shipping. If the order is returned damaged, or is lost in shipment, no refund will be issued.
